Are you ready to make your dream of a crewed charter vacation in the Caribbean a reality?
We are here to assist you through every step of the Booking Process. We will provide expert information and assistance from the very beginning until you finally board the yacht for your vacation of a lifetime.
Selecting your yacht/crew– Based upon thorough communication with you on the features most desired in a yacht and crew, we will provide our expert guidance to help you select the best available yacht for your dates, budget, amenities, activities and other factors.
Complimentary Hold– Once you have decided on your preferred yacht/crew, we will place a HOLD on their calendar to guarantee availability while you finalize your plans and check flight options. A Charter Agreement will be sent to you for review of terms and conditions and payment options.
When should I book my flights? Once the Hold is confirmed and you have reviewed the Charter Agreement and other details of your charter, it would be recommended that you verify the availability of desirable flights for these dates.
Confirmation of your Reservation – This will occur upon the return of the signed Charter Agreement and payment of the applicable deposit of 25% or 50% (depending on how far out your charter dates are from time of booking).
Should you purchase Trip Insurance?
In the event that unexpected circumstances threaten your travel plans, having travel insurance in advance can provide peace of mind and protection of your financial investment. We would be glad to provide you with links to obtain quotes from various providers of travel insurance.
Customizing your Crewed Charter Vacation
The Guest Preference Sheet is important in communicating to the crew your personal preferences in regards to planning your cruising itinerary, custom menu with any special dietary needs, preferred beverages and desired activities for your charter. We recommend getting all the members of your charter together to discuss a few months prior to your charter vacation to give the crew ample time to prepare for your charter.
Final Payment – This is generally due 45-60 days prior to the start date of your charter vacation.
Introduction to the Crew – Scheduling a conference call with your crew prior to arrival is a great ice breaker and the ideal opportunity to go over final details. The crew will typically contact you 7-14 days prior to your charter to introduce themselves, discuss the preferences you provided, pre-planning of the itinerary or specific activities, confirmation of pickup location and time, and answering any other questions you may have before landing in the islands.
Ready to Board – The crew will be anxiously awaiting your arrival to welcome you aboard your private yacht for your charter vacation in the islands.
